Great return of fashion brands to Renoma

Wrocław’s Renoma, is a multifunctional building with a wide range of unconventional retail concepts and carefully selected fashion offerings. As a result of the redevelopment, it will stand out with an equally original culinary concept. With its remarkable history and ongoing metamorphosis, Renoma can claim to be the most ambitious mixed-use project in Lower Silesia. TOUS, Calzedonia, Intimissimi are fashion brands that have returned to Renoma opening their stores here in the latest concepts.

The redeveloped Renoma is strengthening its potential. Evidence of this is the successive replenishment of the tenant-mix. In May, three well-known and well-liked women’s fashion brands, TOUS, Calzedonia and Intimissimi, returned to Renoma and opened their stores here in the latest concepts. The stores are located in one line of the east arcade, adjacent to the Pedet zone under construction.

The 80 sqm TOUS boutique offers customers jewelry that is made of 18K gold, silver or stainless steel. TOUS also offers leather goods, handbags and other accessories. Another two showrooms present the offer of brands belonging to the Italian lingerie manufacturer. The Calzedonia store, measuring 60 sqm, has exceptionally spacious storefronts, while visitors to the Intimissimi store can comfortably store on 100 sqm. Both locations are united by exceptional bright design, a wide selection of cuts, colors and lingerie products for women and men.

On board Renoma, we again welcomed brands that are popular and well-liked among the regulars of our building. TOUS, Calzedonia and Intimissimi, illustrate well what we are guided by when selecting our tenant - mix. We invite premium brands, as well as global fashion stores that have once again decided to present their offer in Renoma. Renoma invariably enjoys great interest from tenants. The fact that brands decide to reopen stores here is the best confirmation of the success of our building and an expression of loyalty and trust on the part of tenants. TOUS, Calzedonia and Intimissimi, complete the wide and unparalleled fashion offer in the region, which is undoubtedly a hallmark of Renoma."

Renoma is one of Wroclaw’s most recognizable buildings and an icon of modernist architecture. The building opened in 1930 under its original name, Wertheim Department Store, and was designed by Berlin architect Hermann Dernburg. The facades of the building were decorated with sculptures of heads of people from different regions of the world, which still exist today, intended to symbolize not only the international origin of the goods offered, but above all cultural diversity and openness to others. The Wertheim Department Store, which was destroyed as a result of warfare, was partially rebuilt and opened in 1948 as the General Department Store, and all its floors were not put into use until 1985, at which time the building took its current name chosen in a competition by the citizens of Wroclaw. In 2009, Renoma was rebuilt and expanded according to a design by Wroclaw architect Zbigniew Maćkow. The lower floors housed more than 120 stores and service outlets, while the upper floors were occupied by offices and a restaurant area. The building is currently undergoing another metamorphosis, which will see the restoration of the pre-war architecture of the courtyards, as well as new functions. Renoma is one of three office and retail projects in Globalworth Poland’s portfolio, alongside Warsaw’s Hala Koszyki and Katowice’s Supersam.
