Wrocławska Renoma receives an award in the Prime Property Prize 2022 competition

Renoma, a Wrocław icon of modernism owned by Globalworth, was awarded in this year’s edition of the Prime Property Prize competition in the Investment of the Year – Retail Space Market category. The jury appreciated the first stage of the reconstruction of Renoma, which resulted in, among others: new northern atrium. The transformed Renoma will open up to the city and become its living, integral part, attracting Wrocław’s residents as well as local and international business. The completion of the work is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.

The winner was announced during a gala accompanying the Property Forum conference. The statuette was received at a gala ceremony on behalf of the investor by Łukasz Duczkowski, Head of Investments at Globalworth Poland. The award for Renoma in Wrocław was granted for the first stage of the metamorphosis of the iconic building. The assessment included the quality of the project, investment implementation time, innovative solutions, architecture, as well as the impact of the building on the environment and the economy of the region.

This award, as well as the interest from our clients and tenants, show that the decision to rebuild Renoma was a good decision. The first stage of the metamorphosis is behind us and we are very proud of the results. We hope that the final effect of the work, which we will present at the beginning of next year, will also receive such recognition
Łukasz Duczkowski, Head of Investment at Globalworth Poland.

The aim of the Prime Property Prize competition is to select those companies and projects that have had the greatest impact on events on the commercial real estate market.

The first stage of Renoma’s metamorphosis At the end of March, the first part of the rebuilt part of Renoma was put into use – the northern atrium with the entrance area from ul. Świdnicka. Its owner and manager, Globalworth, recreated the original layout of the twin courtyards that were originally there. The first of them is decorated with white and gray marble from Portugal and Turkey, gilded sculptures of human heads modeled on those on the façade, as well as huge chandeliers whose shape refers to pre-war Art Deco originals. The designer of the reconstruction is the renowned Wrocław architect Zbigniew Maćków and his studio. After the metamorphosis, scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2023, Renoma will offer nearly 35,000 sq m. sq m office space. Future office users will have at their disposal, among others: charging stations for cars and electric scooters, which will also be made available to guests and customers, extensive bicycle infrastructure with changing rooms, showers and racks, as well as carsharing services. Tenants will also receive a dedicated Globalworth application, thanks to which their employees will benefit from contactless access to the office, call elevators via smartphone, open the barrier to the parking lot, or reserve a conference room or parking space. Its reputation is also environmentally friendly – the facility boasts a BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level, is powered by 100% green energy and has the WELL Health & Safety 2022 certificate.
